Results have trickled in from the Sengoku Raiden Championship 12 show.

A few announcements came at intermission, SRC 13 will take place on Sunday June 20th returning to the Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan.

Lightweight champion, Mizuto Hirota (12-4-1), will vacate his title. Hirota's right arm was busted up by Shinya Aoki on New Year's Eve. Hirota told the crowd that he hopes to return in September.

Featherweight champion Masanori Kanehara (16-7-5) will most likely defend his title at SRC 13 against the winner of Sandro/Kanomata.

SRC 12 will not be broadcast in North America until next Friday, so results will be posted after the jump to avoid any spoilage.

[SRC 12]: aggiunto Marlon Sandro vs Tomonari Kanomata (07/03/2010)

It has been reported that Brazilian Marlon Sandro (15-1-0) will meet Tomonari Kanomata (15-4-5) at SRC12:

Fast rising star, Marlon Sandro, will return to action at the upcoming Sengoku show to face Tomonari Kanomata in a featherweight bout for their show slated for March 7 in Japan and will be shown in the U.S. on HDNet.

The bout was confirmed to MMAWeekly.com on Tuesday by sources close to the fight.

After going undefeated for his first 14 fights, Marlon Sandro (15-1) tasted defeat at the hands of Michihiro Omigawa last year during the Sengoku featherweight tournament. A close split decision cost Sandro the match, and he promptly returned to action in November and knocked out Yuji Hoshino for his troubles.

Sandro is considered one of the top rising fighters in the featherweight division, and he'll hope to keep his latest winning streak alive in March when he faces Kanomata.

Tomonair Kanomata (15-4-5) is a mainstay of the Japanese fight scene, competing primarily for GCM and most recently Pancrase.

A durable fighter who has been in the ring with some of Japan's best, he'll look to unseat Sandro in his first fight for Sengoku in March.

[SRC 12]: "Armbar" Kim affronterà Maxi (07/03/2010)

An opponent for Venezuelan Lightweight Maximo Blanco (4-2-1-) has been announced for the March 7th SRC12 event. It will be 23 year-old South Korean Armbar 'expert' Chang Hyun Kim (15-5-0). Kim is unbeaten in his last six fights dating back to March 2007. The nickname 'armbar' seems appropriate as the last 8 of his 15 victories have come by armbar submissions.

Brazilian Marlon Sandro (15-1-0) will make his 5th Sengoku appearance but his scheduled opponent had to drop out due to injury and there has been no replacement announced yet. Sandro's is coming off a knock out win over Yuji Hoshino (16-7-7) at Sengoku 11.

[SRC]: 12 - aggiunti 3 nuovi match - Il ritorno di Akihiro Gono (07/03/2010)

SRC12 is fast-approaching and while there is still no official word on Wilson Reis other than him participating in the second season of Bellator, it seems like a good bet to not hold your breath for him to be fighting on SRC 12. On the other hand, three new bouts were announced for the card, bringing it up to a grand total of 5 bouts (6 if you count the Reis fight, but who are we kidding? Bellator contracts are pretty rough).

In a Heavyweight fight, Yoshihiro "KISS" Nakao will return from a victory over Choi Mu Bae to face former sumo wrestler Sentoryu, who is coming off a KO victory over Olympic medalist Kim Min Soo.

Akihiro Gono will make his return after a big victory on NYE where he submitted Hayato "Mach" Sakurai to take on Swede Diego Gonzalez, who is 12-1 in his last 14 with his sole loss coming at the hands of UFC's Dan Hardy.

In the Lightweight division, Nova Uniao's Leonardo Santos will fight former Welterweight and Middleweight King Of Pancrase, Kiuma Kunioku.
