[UFC 115]: confermato a Vancouver (12/06/2010)

The Canadian Press report said the UFC had given Vancouver city officials a 24-hour deadline to sort out the insurance issue, or that it would move on to another location. Cincinnati has already been rumored as an alternative destination.
Vancouver Athletic Commission Chairman Mirko Miadenovic told Sirius XM’s “The Fight Show” that the regulatory body had met on Tuesday night to revise the promoter’s package it offered, specifically with its procedures for regulating an event.
Miadenovic said that Zuffa LLC., which owns the UFC, has already been granted its promoter’s license and the event has been approved.
“There’s no reason this event can’t go forward,” Miadenovic told “The Fight Show” host Mauro Ranallo.
UFC 115 is rumored to feature a headlining bout between former UFC champions Chuck Liddell and Rich Franklin.
