Gleison Tibau will step into the Octagon to face Caol Uno at UFC Fight Night 21 in Charlotte, N.C., on March 31, and the American Top Team lightweight says he is hoping to make it the first step in a run toward the UFC 155-pound title in 2010.

Fresh off a dominant win over a very experienced Josh Neer, Tibau hopes to reestablish himself as a viable contender in the division. The fight will take place under the guidance of the North Carolina commission and will be subject to a rule that states there cannot be more than a 13-pound differential between weigh-in and fight-day weights. Tibau is known for cutting a tremendous amount of weight for his fights, and in this exclusive interview, he tells Sherdog.com that he is already preparing for the 13-pound rule.
