First to go was the ladies in Valkyrie 4, where a new Female Featherweight Champion was crowned. Mei "V Hajime" Yamaguchi (6-2-0) upset Yuka Tsuji (22-2-0) handing the "The Vale Tudo Queen" only her second career loss and stopped a 14 fight winning streak. Yamaguchi ended the match after a rear naked choke early in the first round. In the Female Flyweight (45.4kg) Championship Tournament semi final fights, Naoko Omuro (11-7-3) won her third fight in a row dropping Yuko Takagi (0-2-0) and Yasuko Tamada (10-4-3), who is now undefeated in ten matches, was victorious over Cobra Kai's Fukuko Hamada (5-4-0).
In the second event, the men did battle in Cage Force 15. The main event saw Japanese Olympic wrestling silver medalist Katsuhiko Nagata (6-6-1) bounce back after a few losses and beat Koji Ando (2-2-2) by decision. In the semi-main event, Laughter7 fighter Wataru Takahashi (10-12-4) beat the previously undefeated Runki (4-1-0) with a cross armlock late in the first round. In another notable match, fourth-degree black belt in judo turned MMA fighter Kousuke Umeda, who has been fighting with DEEP lost his Cage Force debut to 2002 national high school wrestling champion Ken Taisho (3-0-1).
